Zakat al-Fitr Distribution Project
The Zakat al-Fitr Distribution Project is a humanitarian initiative aimed at ensuring that underprivileged families can celebrate Eid al-Fitr with dignity and joy. Through this project, essential food supplies or financial assistance are distributed to those in need before the Eid prayer, fulfilling the religious obligation of Zakat al-Fitr. The project focuses on reaching vulnerable communities, including low-income families, refugees, and displaced individuals, providing them with basic food items such as rice, flour, dates, and other daily necessities. By doing so, it helps ease financial burdens and ensures that no family is left without the means to enjoy the festive occasion. Beyond meeting immediate needs, the project promotes solidarity, compassion, and social responsibility within the community. It serves as a bridge between donors and beneficiaries, transforming charitable contributions into meaningful impact and bringing smiles to thousands during one of the most important times of the year.
